Beschrijving: Hannie Rouweler (poet and painter), born 1951 in The Netherlands, published her first book of poetry in 1988. Her 15th collection Wolken, ankers (Clouds, anchors) was published in 2008. She has a direct and quite simple way of writing. With sparing use of concrete details she creates her own poetic world. In that totality she exposes a tension between dream and reality, past and present, imagination and phrase. Because of this she speaks to a broad audience.
